We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer in Lahore. Candidate should have Three years of SQA experience in Fin tech industry.
Job Description
Main Responsibility is to make sure the crafted software successfully completes the goal and complies with any outlined requirements
1. Making sure that all work has clearly defined acceptance criteria (during the product planning and backlog grooming phase)
2. Should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies and software life cycles.
3. Should have a strong understanding of software development documentations.
4. Should be proficient in writing, reviewing, revising and verifying quality standards and test procedures for product evaluation.
5. Should have a keen interest in reviewing standards, procedures, tools and processes.
6. Should be proficient in writing test plans, testing procedures, test matrices, test data generation and executing of test plans.
7. Should have considerable experience in bug reporting and management using standard tracking tools (Redmine, JIRA, TFS and such).
8. Identify problems or test failures, clearly document them in a way that the rest of the engineering team can understand and work with.
9. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
10. Experience in testing Fintech projects preferably in US stock market data and investment portfolios.
11. Experience in Agile development environment is a plus.
12. Experience in automation testing (selenium/python) and Jenkins is a plus.
