Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects
within our Managed IT Services portfolio in Lahore. The role requires a blend of project management expertise and technical knowledge to ensure successful implementation of IT infrastructure,cloud, security, and service delivery projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing client expectations, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Managed IT Services projects including IT
infrastructure rollouts, cloud migrations, service desk transitions, and cybersecurity
implementations.
• Collaborate with clients to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success
metrics.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource
allocations.
• Manage internal technical teams, third-party vendors, and partners to ensure seamless
service delivery.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation
plans.
• Ensure projects adhere to IT governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Conduct regular status meetings, providing progress reports to internal leadership and
client stakeholders.
• Support change management, training, and adoption of new IT services and platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices in project management
methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Foster strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and support long-term
partnerships.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related
field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, ideally within a Managed IT Services or IT
outsourcing environment.
• Strong understanding of:
o IT infrastructure (servers, networking, endpoints)
o Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid)
o IT service management (ITSM frameworks such as ITIL)
o Cybersecurity practices and tools
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow PPM, or
equivalent).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with vendor and contract management.
Preferred Certifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• ITIL v4 Foundation (strongly preferred).
• Agile / Scrum certification (CSM, PMI-ACP).
• Cloud (Azure/AWS) or cybersecurity-related certifications are a plus.
