We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant in Lahore with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and related financial processes. The ideal candidate will combine solid SAP functional knowledge with technical problem-solving capabilities and will work closely with finance, accounting, technical, and business teams to maintain, enhance, and optimize SAP financial processes.
The role requires hands-on experience analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP Finance functionality, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring reliable integration between Finance and other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, enhance, and maintain SAP FI/CO functionality across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and related areas.
- Analyze finance-related business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Investigate and resolve functional and technical issues affecting financial processes and transactions.
- Develop and implement enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows where required.
- Work with ABAP developers and integration teams on custom developments and system integrations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial processing and resolve system-related issues affecting financial close.
- Maintain and optimize integrations between Finance and SD, MM, PP, Inventory, HCM, banking, tax, and third-party systems.
- Perform root-cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- Participate in testing, release validation, upgrades, patches, and system improvement initiatives.
- Develop technical and functional documentation, configuration documents, process flows, and knowledge articles.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, financial controls, security requirements, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance configuration and financial accounting processes.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of integration between FI/CO and SD, MM, PP, Inventory, and other SAP modules.
- Experience with interfaces, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, workflows, and SAP integration concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex SAP financial transactions and integration issues.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working directly with finance and accounting stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- SAP Finance certification.
- Experience with Fiori applications and workflows.
- Exposure to ABAP debugging and custom development.
- Accounting or Finance degree
- Experience with financial reporting, banking interfaces, tax solutions, and automated financial processes.
