We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement / MM Consultant in Lahore with strong knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, purchasing, vendor management, material master data, and SAP MM configuration.
This role will work across business and technical teams to improve procurement processes, resolve complex SAP issues, implement enhancements, and ensure effective integration between procurement and related SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and enhance SAP MM and procurement functionality.
- Manage processes involving purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, scheduling agreements, source determination, vendor management, and invoice verification.
- Analyze procure-to-pay requirements and design appropriate SAP solutions.
- Troubleshoot purchasing, goods receipt, invoice matching, vendor, and integration issues.
- Configure purchasing document types, release strategies/workflows, account determination, and related MM functionality.
- Maintain integration between MM and FI/CO, Inventory, SD, Warehouse Management, and external procurement platforms.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, IDocs, reports, forms, workflows, and custom enhancements.
- Analyze recurring process failures and implement sustainable corrective solutions.
- Assist with master data governance and data-quality improvements.
- Participate in functional testing, regression testing, deployments, upgrades, and system changes.
- Produce functional specifications and configuration/process documentation.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP MM / Procurement experience.
- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes.
- Hands-on SAP MM configuration experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, material master, vendor/business partner, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
- Knowledge of integration between MM, FI/CO, Inventory, SD, and warehouse processes.
- Experience troubleshooting SAP transactions, interfaces, and workflow issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement experience.
- SAP MM certification.
- Experience with Fiori-based procurement applications.
- Supply chain degree
- Experience with SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms.
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and enhancement frameworks.
